About Us
We are a group of fourth year journalism students at Wilfrid Laurier University. This project was designed with the goal of us finding the line between appreciation and appropriation in fashion.
Devon Momy-Gamache
Devon has been the sports editor for the Sputnik the last two years. Odds are if you see Devon he will be at a bar watching a sporting event while getting into another debate about what team or athlete is better.
For the past two years, Matthew has been the Arts and Culture editor for the Sputnik and sat on the Wilfird Laurier University Student Publications Board of Directors. He has also previously written for Sweet World Media and has been featured on J-Source. When Matthew isn’t working with Thieves of Fashion or the Sputnik, you can find him at the Brantford skate plaza or falling asleep in class.
Matt Burley
Josh started out as a volunteer writer in his first year at the Sputnik. In his second year he was the On-Campus editor, and has been the Opinion editor during his third and final year. When Josh has time to step away from blogging and writing articles, it’s most likely you’ll catch him watching Premier League football, reading or sweating his life away at the gym.
